Saintis ..Pengorbanan bukan bandingan ..anugerah tiada tandingan

pengorbanan untuk menjadi seorang penyelidik bukan sebarangan..banyak sangat cabaran yang perlu dihadapi dan hidup tidak selalunya indah

disebalik gerimis salju tersimpan kemas duka lara....yang dipendam....pengalaman berada di bumi Arkansas ini tidak akan padam dari sanubariku...

harinie sudah lebih 21 bulan di bumi ini...banyak suka..duka disini...aku masih lagi sedang cuba untuk menulis thesis ku..kelihatan terlalu sukar untuk ku menulis bahagian result..aku tak pasti apa yg patut ku tulis...supervisorku tidak memberikan guidelines dan memberikan aku peluang bebas untuk aku menulis semahuku...mungkin ini sebahagian dari latihan peringkat master


aku juga buntu dengan scope pengajian peringkat PhD yang perlu aku tulis untuk aku kemukan...masih belum jelas haluan ku...mungkin perlu lebih banyak tahajud supaya lebih banyak diberi panduan...


minggu ini merupakan minggu stress buatku..aku tidak pasti kenapa..mungkin kerana seorang pelajar baharu yang menjadikan kehidupan kami sesak dengan sikap show off nya...aku dijadikan bagaikan pekerjanya...sabarjerlah...memang stress dengan sikap tunjuk pandainya...aku serah padaMU ALLAH sekiranya itu ujian buatku...mulai esok aku akan tulis semua penat lelahku menulis thesis dalam blog ini untuk kenangan diriku...saat..saat akhir dibumi uncle sam....

PELAJAR UNIVERSITI DI US

saya memandang tinggi pelajar Universiti di US nie kerana kebanyakan mereka adalah self dependent. Mereka bergantung kepada kerja separuh masa untuk menangung mereka di Universiti. Salah seorang darinya adalah cleaner kt lab saya, pelajar ijazah kejururawatan dan bekerja separuh masa sebagai janitor. dia selalu datang awal pagi atau lewat malam untuk melakukan kerjanya. Tetapi upahnya lumayan sekitar USD 10 per jam. saya kira tidak ramai pelajar University di malaysia mahu melakukannya. saya sendiri ditanggung pada peringkat sarjana dan menerima pinjaman semasa peringkat ijazah.

Muktamar IMSA-MISG 2013 & MSc Commencement

The day before that was a tough day for me since that is the 1st meeting with statistician to discuss about my data. it took us about 1 hour but most of the time discussing about Ean pigweed data and Dr Andy give some tips on how to clean my data...

the next day is my commencement (walk in), that night i spend time watching movie..Rab ne Bana ke Jodi..haha..and wake up around 5 starting to iron my dress...haha

went for Fajr prayer and then go back..given briefing by bro Teddy on his car since we will be using his car for trip to louisville...

i went to commencement with Seth..it is a cold raining morning...we gathered in Walker indoor football stadium where i met Fawod...we are class of 2013..actually i will be class of 2014

i am so sleepy due to watching movie...haha..

we walk to Barnhill Arena and our robe become wet...i talk to a new friend before me when queing up until the moment we have sit..we feel boring and sleepy...

after 1 and half hour then come my turn to receive my scroll

Abroad vs local

University of Arkansas is the university in my head when i am planning to do my MSc...

It is because most of the literature that i used during my undergraduate was from this University.

In this posting i would like to compare the student's life with Malaysian university

By the way i went to Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus for my undergraduate.

In this university, student's life is happening they have alot of club for socialize...movies night...dancing club...and free food everywhere for almost all programme....free coffee ...free chocolate drink..fruits..

Student also seen enjoy their life...with fraternity and sorority (brotherhood and sisterhood)..

They are allowed to wear what they want and free to celebrate anything on campus...

Library are open 7-2 am everyday and 24 hour during exam week...library is full all the time but empty early in the morning...student can be associated with sleeping late night and wake up late...

It has been 1 year and 7 month i am here...still have 5 months to enjoy before going home...

I will be missing my University life abroad

RICE PRODUCTION-DR RICHARD NORMAN

Started with last semester, i made my decision to do special project under Dr Norman

But in the second week of class..i tried to contact him about the special project and he told me...i am suppose to consult him before register for this subject...

thanks ALLAH..he said he will put me in his rice production class...and my classmate will be randy...

i miss a few class because i am not aware..but thank ALLAH i did well in two exams...

Dr Norman is so cool and very well verse in rice...it my pleasure to have him as my professor

today November 12, 2013 .is the last day for his class....i make it to the final....

i hope i did well in final too Nov 14,2013...

Thesis writing 1

it is too late...when i realized this

when i started my experiment in 2012..i just do it without any knowledge.

i am not given the title in advance so that i can prepare with the literature. so doing it without any knowledge make it tough...

LESSON to LEARN

1. before start with your research, prepare with your proposal

2. dont start anything wothout any knowledge

3. it is ok to spend 6 month planning than doing a lot of mistake

4. plan your work ahead

5. prepare data sheet before start experiment

6. read ..read and read

7. prepare everything before experiment...

FALL...my journey almost towards the end

basically..i have 120 days before i have my exit seminar and and my oral defense...

i tried to sti on my desk today to work..but after 5 hours..i am realized..i could not concentrate...i dont know why...

FALL 2013...BAD IDEA

i took 3 subject this semester....

subject that i like the most is rice production because it is an easy subject...

i hate crop physiology as the professor go so deeply into the subject..i think the Professor should make it easy so the student can understand better..i dont think it is a good idea to teach everything and student end up not understand anything...i am a bit sad with this course..how i wish i can change the subject but it is too late...another 8 week for final...i hope i did good in this subject..

i like biological control..it is a good subject...just i have problem with the lab session..i am not doing good on that..tommorow i have exam ..i hope i did well....

identification exam -Biological control

actually this is the exam that i am afraid of..

i am not so confident in identification eventhought i keep looking on them like every week..

sometimes i know nothing..seem like i just on them but i keep forgetting..

ooh ALLAH i seek your help in the exam tmrw

Hujung minggu yang lemah

Sudah tidak lama lagi tempoh aku untuk menyelesaikan pengajian

pokok aku sudah matang menunggu masa menuai

hari sabtu dan ahad aku cuba untuk beri konsentrasi..malangnya cuaca agak tidak membantu..end up of staying home and relax....cuma pergi field 4-6 saturday and 4.20-5.35...

aku terasa amat malas

aku masih lagi terhutang untuk mengambil gambar semua growth of my plant...adoi..kenapa terlalu malas

aku kembali ke lab dan memulakan facebook session...i feel so bad..i am too lazy sometimes...

i dont have time anymore..just 160 days to defense and go home...i need to be fast..

Ya ALLAH bantulah hambamu

154 days to Exit Seminar..188 days to Oral Defense

i wake up early to finish up my writing on Key of Echinochloa but when i checked facebook...a few friends that started their Master later than me have went back to Malaysia...i keep checking on their fb ..almost all them have went back..wow...i feel lonely now..feel like going back today if i can...but stil i have 154 days for my exit seminar and 188 days for oral defense...oh ALLAH Please help me...i feel so boring with this work

Bulan Ramadhan ini sedikit mencabar bagiku 1. Kena saman x pakai seat belt USD 70 2. Camera Nikon D40X rosak Rm 3000 3. Bag targus hilang dr kereta termasuk baju 2 helai, 2 seluar, memory card, ic, dekat RM 200 4. Bantal 2 biji hilang 5. Bakul baju hilang 6. Fees bank USD 15.. Banyak sgt kehilangan nie. Ya ALLAH gantilah dgn sesuatu yg lebih baik... saman overspeed usd 130 saman seat belt 80 maitenence rumah USD 364...sebab rumah bocor... cleaning rumah 2x usd 100

Camping Tyler Bend Buffolo National Park

on June 29th morning all of Weed Physiology team went for camping at Tyler Bend..there 3 car 1 truck and 1 van.

I am a bit reluctant to go because my brother Ibrahim just met an accident on the day before. he broke his hand

i am afraid because my phone was dead and i cannot communicate with my family. that morning i cook egg samma and chicken bbq.. i almost forgot that i need to rent tent from abg azriman...right after sending Sirichai and  Dr Nadeem to lab i went to abg azriman house to collect the tent...abg azriman left for work and kak azi was there and offered me a cup of sonic milk shake..it was very nice..i like it

i almost forgot about my lunch and only had my lunch around 4...we started to prepare bbq at 5.30 pm and almost done with dinner by7...then we went for fishing...i am not lucky enough this time because i didn't get anything. before went to sleep we played card and see raccoon eating our chips and playing with rice...

the next day, woke up abit early by 5 and offered fajr prayer. we went for morning walk and went for fishing...

Dr Burgos and her breakfast team prepare a good meal and we eat that before continue sleeping. we help Paul's group for lunch and we had our lunch by 2 pm and start driving back by 3.30...i am so sleepy and sleep all the way from the national park to fayetteville...

i enjoy a lot but i hope this will be the last camping...too tired to camp...

Pulanglah jua kami ke desa..

dah bulan julai...rakan2 di Australia mungkin sudah bersiap untuk pulang..manakala rakan-rakan di UK sudah menghitung hari untuk pulang ke desa tercinta..

bagi kami di sini masih tersisa sekitar 10 bulan sebelum boleh pulang...memang seronok berada di perantauan..tetapi kerinduan terhadap desa tercinta sentiasa menebal...
